Grove in the sky

Leising builders of Fallbrook California and Owners Sharon Colona/Scott Wibbenmeyer design & create a modern farm home in the sky.

Frequent visits to California for "just the right view" landed this post-retirement dream home in Temecula California. The vision of a modern but comfortable farmhouse was put together room by room by husband and wife and Leising builders brought drawings to life.

Situated above the clouds and surrounded by 550 avocado trees, this home creates a seamless transition between outdoor and indoor living spaces and every room showcases a stunning view of the valley below.
Fresh breezes flowing from room to room with a sense of connection to the grove was a mainstay to owner Sharon Colona. The interior is based in natural and organic elements with handcrafted raw wood furnishings and organic textiles. "We wanted a view that incorporated both the countryside to enjoy during the day and the city lights at night and this land provided both. The avocado grove that was included in the land purchase was not originally part of our plan but turned out to be a wonderful bonus."

The driveway leading to the home is flanked with blooming white roses and the large front porch with rocking chairs & porch swing is there to welcome you with a feeling of being home.

The upper deck has a breathtaking view of the valley and into the town of Pechanga. At night the twinkle of the city lights compete with the starry sky.

An abundance of windows brings natural light throughout the interior and a cross breeze throughout the home.
