The open kitchen is the central hub of the office. It is a space to gather, take a break, and share ideas. Modern furnishings in molded black plywood and light ash tie in with the muted, industrial palette.

New to the Dwell Store, the Sprig Stool from Council is defined by its simple design and minimalist silhouette. Designed by Chad Wright, the stool is set at bar height, making it a great option for both residential and commercial bars. The pared-down shape is interrupted by the unexpected stainless steel footrest, breaking up an otherwise uniform design.

Made from Kartell’s signature plastic, the Charles Ghost Stool features a shape that evokes stools made in the 1800s, while offering a decidedly modern slant.

The kitchen features custom stained oak cabinetry and White Macauba quartzite countertops. The upper cabinets are covered with perforated metal panels. The oven, steam oven, cooktop, and warming drawer are Gaggenau. The refrigerator is Sub-Zero. The barstools are from Holly Hunt.

Another seating win: the Miura barstool for Plank in 2005. Reinforced polypropylene / 18.5" W x 15.75" D x 32" H with 30.5" seat height.

For the kitchen, master bath, and kids’ bathroom, the designers chose three different hues of Savoy stacked mosaic tile from Portland-based manufacturer Ann Sacks. Tractor barstools by BassamFellows pull up to a PentalQuartz countertop. The gas cooktop, oven, and dishwasher are by Miele.
