Marble was used throughout the master bathroom in order to create a timeless feel that would age well. “The hope is that in 15 years, you won’t look at the room and think, ‘oh, that tile was only popular in 2015,” Michael says.

The brass fittings are new to the project but are similar to metal that was originally used elsewhere in the project. The fittings, seen here in the children’s bathroom, will quickly acquire a dark patina.

Even before Juilland started on the project, the homeowners tapped Ben Dagitz of DagitzFurniture to make a few items for the home. This included the "island" divider which Dagitz conceived. The chair rail around the perimeter of the room is painted in Farrow & Ball’s Purbeck Stone.
