The Double Octahedron Ring Planter from Eric Trine is a geometric accent made of powder-coated steel. The planter instantly sophisticates a standard ten-inch terracotta pot by adding visual interest to the exterior, raising the pot upward, and giving the plant a new footprint. This product launched at Dwell on Design Los Angeles in May 2015.
The Botanica Flower Pot from Kähler is a smart take on an indoor planter. Crafted in ceramic, the pot is designed to house a small plant, while still taking on the look of an elegant vase. The Botanica is designed to provide a framework for modern flower arrangements. This product has just launched at the Dwell Store.
Designed by Swedish designer Monica Förster, the Brushed Brass Flower Pots celebrate the shape of traditional terracotta pots and elevates the look with a luxurious material selection. Maintaining the historical production methods of the Skultuna factory, these flower pots are made through the traditional practice of metal spinning.
Designed by David Cressey for Architectural Pottery, the Pineapple Planter adds a touch of the tropics to a household plant, even in the least tropical climates. With an intricate textured honeycomb exterior, the planter gives a nod to a pineapple’s exterior, while still maintaining an artful, modern look. The AP-100 Pineapple Planter is perfect for housing a large fern or leafy plant.
The Stem Hanging Planter from Bower NYC presents a sophisticated play of materials. The planter is made from a spun aluminum bowl that rests on an interior stem—a steel rod that travels through the base of the bowl, through the plant’s soil, and above the bowl where it hangs from a waxed black cotton cord. The result is a decidedly sculptural piece that carefully balances components to create an artful hanging planter for indoor spaces.
