In such a small space “you have to organize, and every piece takes a decision,” says resident Heidi Wright. The couple keep things they use less frequently, like guest bedding, in the higher cabinets.

Nick lounging in the living room. The one-of-a-kind candleholder to his right is one of his favorite secondhand finds. "It has these three mirrors which reflect the light of the candle perfectly, and the wiggly shapes are just amazing," he says.

The renovation added two bathrooms, a large bedroom, a laundry room, and a workshop.
