"All of it is naturally embraced by the traditional, white interior walls and the black volcanic rocks of Santorini," says Bellonias.

"We’ve created the interiors to offer understated luxury features," says Bellonias. "It can be called Cycladic minimalism."

The entrance to Villa Omikron reveals a series of arched openings.

Oisterwijk Brouwhuis was designed by Bedaux de Brouwer Architecten and its finished structure resembles an elongated barn in the forests of Oisterwijk. The pitched roof makes way for a window wall that covers one entire end of cabin. The exterior is clad in black-stained wood, which matches the wooded forest and contrasts with the snow.

A shaft of light illuminates the interior. “A friend of mine compared the visual elements to Jodorowsky,” Jane said. “Very cinematic.”

The skylight and floor-to-ceiling glass windows invite nature into the bathing area of the bathroom.
