“A rug made from wool, jute, or linen feels incredibly luxurious underfoot and will wear in, not out, over time,” explains Sally Potthurst, co-founder of Armadillo. “This makes our rugs ideal for modern living.”
The table in the kitchen dining area was crafted from leftover Douglas fir boards and the built-in bench is made from Douglas fir plywood. Ribbed white ceramic wall tile provides contrasting texture.

The open-plan living area features a hanging fireplace. The space wraps around a central core containing the new oak staircase, bathroom, and storage.
