In the primary bathroom, the integrated sink and counter was fabricated by Cement Elegance, a Bend, Oregon-based company whose work Connie saw in a hotel, when Schwegmann and Helland came to visit. The matte black plumbing fixtures are from Cal Faucets.

Brian pulled out the wall-to-wall carpeting that was installed throughout much of the home to reveal the original concrete floors underneath, which had rampant cracks. He grinded the floors down and sealed them as matte as possible.
