The tiny house features a front porch that spans the width of the house and looks to a large pond. The pair of Adirondack chairs was a gift from the Nashes’ son, and were hand-painted by their daughter.
French doors by Jeld-Wen open the living room to the terrace and the landscape beyond. The mint-green shelving unit is original to Jon's grandparents' house, which originally stood on the property. "It holds much sentimental value," he says.
The master bedroom features a sliding barn door crafted by Jon Nash, shiplap interior siding, and Jeld-Wen French doors that tie the space to the outdoors.
One of the modules is a garage.
The wooden floors inside the house echo the trees outside.

The house is composed of three separate modules.
On the boathouse's lakeside, the family can just open a garage door and lead one of their two small boats down the rails and into the water. Beside is a small deck.
Looking straight up at the building's skylight, which illuminates not only the stairs but all the public upstairs spaces.
The stairway is an experience unto itself, condensing the light and the monochromatic wood-wrapped interior present in the rest of the dwelling.
White oak paneling lines the sleeping loft.
Custom oak cabinetry and marble counters and backsplash define the small kitchen in the open plan. The rug is by Armadillo & Co.
In the shared bath, nothing was changed except for the wall color.
The couple designed the oak built-ins to tuck under the existing high windows, making sure the new wood tones meld with the existing wood on the floor and ceiling.
The wall-mounted shelves are custom-designed by Stewart-Schafer.
