The living area—or “dance floor,” as the Womersley family called it—has an expansive feel, thanks to high ceilings and full-length windows.

The Butler Channel bed in Boulevard Graphite velvet sits alongside a Solange faux-shagreen side table in cream, a Colburn cocktail ottoman in Vivid Terracotta velvet, and a Margaux swivel ottoman in Taos Silver.

The Haywood left sectional, pictured here in SOL Sky Blue, is one of O’Connor’s favorites. “I have it in my own home because I love the modern look and the comfortable way it sits,” she says. “Plus, it’s a low-maintenance dream: when I stand up, it fluffs back into perfect shape without me doing a thing.”

For delicate pottery in pastel and light, earthy hues, look to this Quito studio’s line of cups, dishes, and kitchenware. Curved forms subtly distorted give these pieces a playful but sophisticated vibe.

District Eight is a Ho Chi Minh City brand known for its well-made contemporary furnishings. The Stilt Collection was developed with Milan-based Vietnamese designer Toan Nguyen. “District Eight is one of the largest furniture makers in Vietnam and has a global reach,” Le says.

The living room opens to the dining room, which abuts the kitchen and home office. The walnut dining table, pictured here with an extension leaf in place, was designed by BSC. “The family needed a table that extends for large family dinners, but didn’t feel too formal for everyday use,” Stageberg explains, adding, “Most meals happen around the broader end, but the table can expand to seat up to fourteen.” The dining chairs are Saarinen and the light fixture above the table is from FLOS.

Glass walls wrap around the game room, which features a custom mahogany pool table and fully equipped wet bar. The hardwood floors and ceilings pop against the surrounding white walls.

A pair of Molded Plywood lounge chairs by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller sit opposite a BoConcept coffee table and a sofa of Paul’s design. For his father’s book collection, Paul created a library around the double-height staircase.

In the great room, the curved ceiling reaches 16 feet. A Roche Bobois sofa faces a double-sided, indoor/outdoor fireplace made of board-formed concrete.

The homeowners’ collection of artifacts from their travels, and ones collected during a parent’s military service, add an additional sense of history to the handcrafted home. An African shield, a Native American headdress, and a Navajo rug work beautifully with the newly commissioned custom pieces.

All along the hallway, additional Shoji screens offer multiple options to enclose several bedrooms to the left, as well as control sunlight entering the south-facing windows. The home's original owners added a bed of granite rocks and log rounds in place of traditional flooring.

The mezzanine is fenced by slats of whitewashed pine, and acts as the children’s playroom and hangout space.

The primary bathroom offers a similar aesthetic, with warm oak flooring and a cool, crisp color palette. Windows surrounding the standing tub and the shower allow the sun's rays to fill all corners of the space.

The living area has a PK22 chair by Poul Kjaerholm and a Float sofa and Zoe rug from Paola Lenti’s outdoor collection. Pietre Del Nord porcelain stoneware from Emser Tile runs from the patio through the house.
