The kitchen was designed to be functional, for a family of five that likes to cook. Cabinetry and countertops resemble the colors of the wall panels and metal framing.

The galley-style kitchen is fitted with custom Black walnut cabinets, which pop against the marble countertops and backsplash. The sun-filled dining room is located just steps away.

The vista through the trees to the lake was one of the first things that attracted Heather and Brad to the home. The Marvin Essential windows offer sweeping views and invite the outside in, creating a vibrant backdrop to family life that changes with the seasons. “We changed all of the windows to add nearly double the amount of glass to the house,” reveals Heather. “We love how it lets in such incredible light and captures our great views!”

Another fireplace awaits in the primary bedroom located on the upper floor. The sage-green palette and soft lighting creates a calming refuge to rest and unwind.

The plaster medallions above the chandeliers had to be removed to repair ceiling damage and replaced by polyurethane ones.

The Ramseys finished the pool after they moved in. Although Alterstudio had also designed a cabana, the couple decided not to build it in favor of keeping more outdoor space. Chairs and lounges by Loll join an umbrella by California Umbrella.

RobitailleCurtis renovated the entry hall, dining room, and kitchen of the Winchester Residence. Thankfully, they kept the sweeping wooden Victorian staircase intact.

Dark hardwood lines the floors on both levels of the 6,200-square-foot dwelling. An open library and loft accentuate the home's large main foyer.

The old railing was preserved and reinstalled. Neufeld also smoothed out the layout upstairs by pushing the bathroom back and ceding space to circulation. The skylights were existing.

Original details can be found all throughout the well-preserved home, including curved marble fireplaces, herringbone flooring, large windows, and custom molding.
