New York-based fashion designer Lisa Perry, best known for her bold and colorful womenswear collection, just completed her first interiors project since launching her latest venture, Lisa Perry Homes. Like her eponymous fashion line, Perry's interior style taps into her passion for 1960s and 70s Pop Art motifs. She blends vintage and contemporary looks with clean lines, bold primary colors, and pop-y geometric shapes. “My true love has actually always been interiors,” explains Perry, who grew up in a midcentury modern home in Chicago. “I've worked on every aspect of design in my own homes and stores over the last 20-plus years.”

3 Via Los Incas, her first project to hit the market is a formal 5,686-square-foot, six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bath Robert W. Gottfried Regency-style residence built in 1980. Gottfried was a celebrated builder, developer, and real estate entrepreneur whose signature French Regency-style homes left a significant mark on Palm Beach—and are still coveted today. For the first renovation with Lisa Perry Homes, the designer worked together with architect Christine Harper, and was intent on making sure that her signature style shined through and that her “brand DNA was apparent from the first step inside”.

Perry's goals for the renovation were clear from the very start: she wanted an open floor plan with plenty of natural light; a white backdrop with pops of color; plenty of fabulous art; plus a mix of vintage and new furniture. Hardware, art, and furnishings were sourced from Lisa’s travels between the US and France and add a layer of sophistication to the Palm Beach interiors. Bold, primary colors, also feature throughout.

"I grew up with great art in my homes and endless visits to museums over the years," she explains. "My dad was a painter and his primary-colored paintings hung everywhere in our house. So it makes sense that I’m also inspired by Mondrian, Calder, Miro and Ellsworth Kelly, who also all use primary palettes."

Now that the project is complete, Perry is selling the home with all the furniture, art and accessories inside. “The idea is that the buyer can move right in with as little as a suitcase,” she concludes.
