The master bedroom was enlarged by claiming a nearby closet, creating space for a walk-in shower beneath an existing skylight.

Ash veneer covers the custom-made cabinets, which are juxtaposed with open shelves made from black metal.

The bathrooms come fully outfitted with fixtures from Damixa, a one-piece toilet from Laufen, a Velis Evo water heater, and a towel dryer. The shower stall can also be purchased as a detached unit intended for use alongside Iglucraft's sauna.

In the main living area, vaulted ceilings and a soaring brick fireplace further enhance the home's overall sense of space.

Studio Shed offers four different product lines that range from 96 to 1000 square feet in size. The model pictured above is an lengthened version of the Signature model.

The open-plan kitchen, dining area, and living space are arranged in a 16-square-foot volume that features a vaulted ceiling, lending a sense of spaciousness.

“It almost goes without saying that we love the energy efficiency, the smart technology, the low footprint, the smart wood paneling that doesn’t have cellulose so you won’t get termites. We love all those thoughtful details,” Niki says. These features, along with others, are all standard Cover offerings.

Niki and J.P. live in the main house with two cats and roughly 60 hummingbirds circling the property, which—thanks to Niki’s arduous care—is registered as a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation.
