A corner fireplace separates the living area from a formal dining room. Both the living room and dining are offer direct access to a covered balcony overlooking the canyon.

In Golden Beach, Florida, a new residence was designed with a minimalist, zen-inspired approach that carried through to even the small powder room, where the focal point is on a sculptural sink and a textured tile wall behind the sink.

Surman Weston delivers a contemporary twist on the mock-Tudor style with minimalist interiors and intricate brickwork.

A custom-made black walnut dining table is surrounded by chairs from Matthew Hilton Designs. A Lindsey Adelman chandelier hangs overhead. The team chose to paint the dining room in Railings by Farrow and Ball to create a mood apart from the airier kitchen and living area.

Just off the living area, the kitchen features two shades of cabinetry and a white backsplash made of beveled subway tile.

Sliding glass doors open up to the back patio, where a staircase leads up to terraced vegetable gardens and fruit trees.
