“We want to have something that’s a little quirky but still classic enough that it’s not going to be out of date soon,” Thomas says.

Craig and Thomas infused the surfaces of the space with their bold taste by alternating the orientation of the wood grain in the millwork veneer panels to create a lively pattern.

A partial wall anchors the kitchen on one side and houses closets on the other. A w151 pendant by Wastberg hangs above the central dining area.

Artworks made by Craig and Thomas’s friends complement a coffee table by Faye Toogood and a foam chair by Wentrcek Zebulon. The couple made the papier-mâché side table last year, “at the height of pandemic boredom,” says Craig.

A Cloud Softlight pendant by Molo helps demarcate the living area, bounded by a Le Bambole sofa by Mario Bellini beside of which sits a magazine rack by Chen Chen & Kai Williams.
