The kitchen underwent the most dramatic change, being relocated to the back of the house adjacent to the living room. White Oak floors and casework and new Kolbe windows warm up the space. The pendant light is from Design Within Reach, and the bar stools are custom from Sean Woolsey.

New sliding glass doors provide a seamless connection to exterior living areas.

The lower-level bathroom enjoys a door to the outdoors so the family can enter directly after surfing. Green Emser tiles are arranged in a unique alternating pattern, and the shower floor is from Concrete Collaborative.

The en suite tub is placed beneath a skylight.

In the primary shower, Umi Kyokai tile in matte white, sourced from Design and Direct Source, lines the walls.

The primary suite has custom oak cabinetry, built by Jonathan, to zone different functions in the space.

The primary bath has a tub, sink, and fixtures by Lusso. The zellige tiles are by Clé Tile.

Dark-gray, 24-by-24-inch ceramic tile wraps the primary bathroom as wainscoting. In the shower, the tiled lower wall projects outward to form a ledge for soap and shampoo. The mirror surround and vanity cabinet are in the same white oak used throughout the house.
