This off-grid retreat is quite literally nestled among the treetops in Epworth, Georgia.

This 530-square-foot prefab in East Sussex, England, was designed by Michael Kendrick Architects for a family who wanted to build a woodland retreat/rental on their property. Immersing the lodge into the forest reflects the family’s intent to, as the architects explain, “enhance the ecological biodiversity of the area, protect wildlife, and enable guests … to understand and appreciate the fauna, flora, and unique history and nature of the area, while supporting and promoting the local economy.”

In the larger cabin, there is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

MyCabin delivers each structure with interior finishes completed, but owners have to furnish the space on their own.

The newest cabin, Milla Long, features a full primary suite on the ground floor of its 450 square feet.

The van conversion kits are available in small, medium, and large and fit a Nissan NV 200, a Chevrolet City Express, the Ford E Series, a Mercedes Sprinter, a Ford Transit 148, and a Ford Transit Cargo Crew. The company will eventually release conversion kits for a Ford Transit Connect, a Ram Promaster City, and a Ram Promaster.
