In the living room, a Dublexo sofa and ottoman by Innovation Living was sourced from Zinc Details. The rug is from Ikea; the Kozy Heat gas fireplace is clad in gray tilework and knotty cedar planks. The clocks are from Muji and the posters are from Paper Jam Press.

Waigeo Daybed

A beautifully renovated apartment in the capital of Sicily echoes the colors and textures of the sea. The bathroom in particular evokes water, with textured tadelakt cement and Wet System Wall & Deco wallpaper.

The bathroom layout was reconfigured for more privacy, and wrapped in honed beige marble.

A large en suite bathroom adjoins the principal bedroom, featuring bright-white walls that reflect natural light and high windows that frame the sky.

In the primary bath, which includes the home’s only indoor shower, Lachapelle used plumbing fixtures and hardware with an oil-rubbed bronze finish that relate to the touches of black in the living space. The wood dowel and leather triangle towel holders are from Schoolhouse.

The bathroom cabinetry is also custom-designed by Béar Architects.
