The interiors are swathed in organic hues to allow the natural environment to shine.

The couple designed the great room to be a comfortable room for gathering with friends and hosting dinner parties.

The fireplace is covered in Norman brick from Mutual Materials, in an era-appropriate stacked pattern.

An oak beam spans the room, and a custom fireplace was created by Noor El-Mohandes.

The den off the kitchen was set up for cozy TV nights, with an inky-toned accent wall, custom curtains by a local maker, and a comfortable sectional.

Though the living room only has large windows on one side, an upper window at left helps create what the clients call double sunrises and sunsets, by creating reflections on the larger windows at right.

A blue checkered Moroccan rug amps up the visual interest in the space, along with a new yellow Togo couch and Herman Miller coffee table. Switching out the mullioned windows for new tilt-and-turn windows from Semko help the space feel larger and increase energy efficiency.

The exposed brick of the fireplace was painted the same as the walls, Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore, used throughout. The Emil Dresser by Pinch, a piece the couple bought as they fleshed out their aesthetic, now has a designated place in the room.
