A tub zone lined in redwood connects to the master bedroom, which is furnished with a vintage Sergio Rodrigues lounge chair and Voyage Immobile seats from Roche Bobois.
The principal bedroom includes a mezzanine level that houses the owner’s fashion collection.
From the open-plan kitchen, dining area, and living room, a metal-and-glass wall frames a peaceful view of the indoor pool at the rear of the residence.
The original floor plan consisted of a long, central corridor with two gymnasiums on either side.
The building’s original brick walls and concrete floors were left in situ—although the architects varnished and polished both surfaces extensively to protect from dust.
The dining table was designed by MASA Architects. It features a structural glass manufactured by Van Dijken Glas in a color gradient of black to brown.
MASA Architects also designed the large kitchen island made from infinity quartzite, which was honed and oiled by the Netherlands–based natural stone supplier Vasto Natuursteen.
