Rossi did not carry the dividing wall between the bedroom and living room all the way up to the ceiling, so as not to break up the treatment up there, instead designing the wall as a custom storage and display unit.

One of Rossi’s goals was to clean up the exterior by taking away the extraneous detail, like the stone wrapping the columns and the brick trim, and painting it white.

Furniture is built right into the space: custom seating abounds.

The cascading levels and warm wood create a serene, grown-up-treehouse vibe.
