A shelving system in the living room displays books, decor, and the couple’s vinyl collection.

Designed in 1960 for Vitsœ by Dieter Rams, the 606 Shelving System remains a storage favorite because it adapts with the times—literally. Installing the modular structure is foolproof, and customizing it rewards creativity.

It was important for the creative pair to be able to showcase their collection of art pieces throughout.

Though the living room only has large windows on one side, an upper window at left helps create what the clients call double sunrises and sunsets, by creating reflections on the larger windows at right.

The kitchen features custom-lacquered cabinets with white oak handles and, in lieu of upper cabinets, a wall niche to display dishes.
