A yellow Pedestal filing cabinet by USM is tucked under a built-in desk in the guest bedroom. The leather-back chair was designed by Michael Robbins, a furniture designer based in New York's Hudson Valley.

A John Baldessari photograph rests on a shelf above a built-in desk just around the corner from the kitchen.

Illuminated by track lighting, a teak wall unit by Poul Cadovius showcases pottery by Eva Zeisel and Paul McCobb, among others. The desk seat is a T chair by William Katavolos, Ross Littell, and Douglas Kelley; the Womb chair is by Eero Saarinen for Knoll.

Home office.

The office is a showcase that includes an Eames Storage Unit for Herman Miller, a wall-mounted Eames leg splint, and chairs by Eero Saarinen and Harry Bertoia for Knoll.

The playroom later became Xenia’s office.

A light well draws daylight into the piano room, infilling the back of the floor plate with diffused light.

Reeve's partner, Michela Meazza, uses built-in closets for her home office. The imposing gunmetal gray doors can simply be swung shut at the end of a long day's work.

The catwalk running above the studio is aptly named for the household: Farley’s felines patrol their owners’ activity from this overhead perch.
