Buff & Hensman's award-winning 1983 Harry Dorsey Residence is located in Playa Del Rey, California, across the street from Del Rey Lagoon and just a few blocks from the ocean. The architects' primary challenge was to build on a steep and narrow lot—just some 30 feet wide and 75 feet deep, resulting in a multi-leveled interior to maximize sunlight and views.
