Built in Sunset Park, L.A., the original model was made by ERLA Construction (a company started by one of Minarc's cofounders) from a structural insulated panel (SIP) developed in house.
Pictured here and in the top image, the 350-square-foot Plús Hús ADU is an example of Minarc's larger offerings.
Situated next to the sleeping nook and on the other side of the kitchenette, the bathroom was outfitted with efficient Hansgrohe fixtures and an electric water heater.
The bathroom vanity for the tiny house was custom designed by Minarc.
The round LED lamps that dot the walls and ceiling are another example of a detail designed by the Icelandic duo.
The sleeping nook is just large enough to house a twin-sized mattress. Lighting is recessed into the maple-finished wall panels, and pull-out storage is concealed beneath the bedframe.
