The architects cut an oculus out of the mirrored wall that delineates the bathroom, borrowing sunlight from the kitchen for the interior of the bathroom.

A large built-in pinewood cabinet in the living-and-bedroom area hides a horizontal Murphy bed, storage, and an electric meter. The architects maintained the concrete slab as the flooring for the room, layering it with a grey epoxy stain that offers a sleek sensibility.
