Heath tiles were used in the primary bathroom, and unlacquered brass fixtures from Watermark continue the theme.

The rear of the home had been complicated by many additions. Davis streamlined the space as one adjoining kitchen, living room, dining room, and lower sunroom.

Boyer reconfigured the floorplan for more accessible storage, continuing the theme of white oak built-ins on the upper level, which allow Brooke and Tobi to access their side of the closet simultaneously.

One of Brooke’s favorite spots in the home were the corner windows in the eating nook. Now the light from those can spread to the rest of the plan. Honed limestone covers the counters. “You can see some of the shells and other things that have been pressed into the stone,” says Brooke. “They have a really beautiful patina.”

Boyer added a skylight over the stairwell to bring light into the middle of the home.

A Blu Dot table is surrounded by custom made stools by Dan Druley Craftsman. A Dolomite slab, Enigma in 3cm, covers the counters. The overhead light is Roll and Hill Fiddlehead Cantilever.

The walnut cabinets are natural walnut, designed by Natalie Officer for Sims Lohman. Kitchen appliances are Miele.

“Everyone who comes over wants to sit in the nook,” says Natalie, especially teenagers. “It’s quiet. They can whisper there.” The ceiling light is Urban Electric Form.
