These prefab ADUs are the perfect solution for those in need of a separate home office.

Built with an R-21 envelope, Drop Structures’ Micro unit is clad in a maintenance-free standing-seam metal exterior and features a Baltic birch interior with luxury vinyl flooring.

The POD 1 liv simply pod is one of three compact structures offered by LIV Pods that adds a functional work space to an unused area of a backyard.

"We imagined how six people would use the space and developed the shape accordingly," says Hello Wood cofounder Dávid Ráday. "We took inspiration from the design of space capsules, and the cabin was refined step by step before reaching its final form."

Jorge Pliego and Cony Mier built a home outside Mexico City with polished black concrete floors that have been rid of their top-most layer of gravel to reveal the terrazzo-like texture of the mixture. “The pigment is made from natural colorants and different types of earth,” says Agustín Pereyra, an architect who collaborated with Michel Rojkind on the house.
