Walls are covered in Fireclay tile in Navy Blue. The vanity has a custom concrete basin by Newbold Stone Architectural Concrete and steel base from Metal Works Austin. The custom steel shelf and steel-edged mirror are paired with a perforated pendant by Allied Maker.
The kitchen features its original built-in clock; a Michael Graves Alessi kettle stands on the range.
The cozy living area features a refurbished Børge Mogensen chair and a Recover sofa from Bolia. The coffee table was sourced from Jotex.
“I wanted a neutral space for my office so that I wasn’t swayed or distracted when designing for clients,” shares Abbie, seen here in her new workspace. “My plywood wall-to-wall desk is as clean of a slate as it gets.”
Extending the home’s lower level made room for Abbie’s spacious new home office. Clean, simple finishes provide a clear and composed space from which to work and create.
