Skáli North is a remote retreat situated along the coast of Prince Edward Island. The 1,192-square-foot vacation home belongs to a journalist and his family, who visit throughout each of the area’s four distinct seasons.

The Sauna and Bath Pod includes two stainless steel soaking tubs with hot and cold water, an outdoor shower, and a lantern hanging post.

The cedar-lined sauna seats up to four people.

Ample offers two options: a sauna pod, and a combined sauna/bath pod that includes a deck with two soaking tubs.

“We’re always throwing events,” says Paul, so the indoor/outdoor style was a great fit for them.

Natural light was extra important to Aaron, as this space functions as his art studio, too.

A woodburning stove from Cubic provides ambience and supplements heat from a furnace. “If you can get it to burn through the night without touching it, that’s a win,” Riley says. “When we’re in relatively cold places, we’re constantly using it.”
