A new powder room features simple, natural materials that tie in with the rest of the house—a wood counter, wood knobs, and neutral-hued Sugie mosaic tiles from Artedomus.

Original blue tile lines the counter and backsplash in one of the two bathrooms.

Ryan fit a washing machine and plenty of storage in the bath.

The master bath includes a floating double-vanity, teak cabinets, and an oversized shower.

The Caesarstone and plywood vanity echoes the materials in the kitchen, as does the wall tile.

Open timber shelves in the bathrooms offer additional surface space. Brass fixtures add warmth and texture to the minimal palette.

The new master bathroom features wall sconces from Chown hardware and penny tiles in a patterned designed by Dyer herself.

The downstairs bathroom features blue tiles. As the color orange is used on the main living floor, the color blue is found throughout the basement level. "It has something to do with the nearby bay and that by going down you are taking a journey under the water," explains Edgar.

Interior design firm Eneia White Interiors established a modern twist on the classic penny round in this bathroom, pairing matte-black finishes with warm grays to create a clean and timeless aesthetic.

An Ashanti stool that was "a wedding gift from the designer’s family" rests beside a Wetstyle tub. Hanging above is a Crescent Light by Lee Broom.

Clerestory windows bring light and some greenery into the space.

A mirror directly across from the en suite’s massive window serves to double the view.

In the bathroom, a mottled Japanese tile from Academy Tiles brings texture and warmth. Plywood makes for an excellent material for shelving.

The custom vanity, designed by Jocie and fabricated by O’Brien Wood & Iron, has birch fronts, a Corian counter and backsplash, Lacava sinks, and Kohler faucets. Clé tile covers the floor, while Ann Sacks tile lines the walls. The birch rail with hooks is by Iris Hantverk.

Cheng specified brass schluter inlay between the terrazzo tiles at the floor. "These are installed in an offset Y pattern, which is the first letter of their last name," says the designer.

Cork flooring by Expanko runs from the bathroom to the hallway, mirroring the tones of the cedar ceilings. Heath Ceramics tile clads the vanity wall.

“I’ve done my share of neutral bathrooms with white tiles, and these clients are adventurous, so we really had fun with the material selections and color palettes in the bathrooms,” Damonte says.

A custom plywood-and-aluminum door slides into the wall, providing access to the bathroom, which is also finished with plywood.
