Steps lead down to the pool, but the more daring way to enter it—as the architect intended, says Fabian—is by climbing over the primary bedroom’s balcony gate and diving or jumping into the deep end below. “It was one of the first swimming pools in the area,” says Roberto. “The owners were open and friendly, so all the neighbors would come and use it.” Besides providing alternative access to the pool, the bedroom offers an unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside.
