An antique wicker chest sits beside a ceramic vessel by Kevin Willis in the bathroom.

The brass backsplash was a risky experiment carried off by Natalie, who started with unlacquered 4x8 foot sheets, then gave them patina by covering them in vinegar, ketchup, and salt, and leaving them out in the sun. The resulting pattern was aligned as carefully as possible, and the surface sealed. “We just had to essentially cut the topography into a way that felt really great,” says Natalie.

In the living area, Scott chose low-slung furnishings to enhance the feeling of space. The chairs are by Block & Chisel, the coffee table is from Weylandts, and the sofas are by the architect.

Vintage and new mix together in the bedroom. A vintage pendant from Early Electrics hangs over a custom fabricated bed by Interior Decorating by E&J with Kravet fabric. The artwork above is Erosion Teak Sculptures by Andrianna Shamaris. The sconces are Long Made Co above 20th Century Italian bedside tables. The Indian Bedcover is via Hollywood at Home, joined with a Filling Spaces & one-of-a-kind vintage textile pillow via Amber interiors.

An antique clawfoot tub from Olde Good Things sits atop Belgian Blue Limestone flooring, the pieces broken and fit together on site, while the walls were covered in Moroccan tile from Cle Tile.

In the bathroom, the vanity base is an early 20th century English two-drawer side table and the storage is provided by a rustic brown-painted bucket bench shelf circa 1930.
