The Meranti wood and glass doors are over nine feet tall, and have a custom arch detail at the top. The clay coating on the walls and ceiling are by Matteo Brioni. “We mixed some colors together to give the space a perfect warm and serene feel,” says Valérie. “We like to add the same clay finish to the ceiling as the walls to create a sense of intimacy.”

A Michael Anastassiades Flos pendant light from Living Edge brightens the space. The bespoke vanity was designed by Carter Williamson and built by House by Hart Joinery. "Again, we used timber half-dowels to tie the look in with the kitchen," says Peake.

In one space-saving tactic, Chris added a built-in bench with drawers for storage to the dining area. The table is a custom design by Archier, and the chairs are vintage finds. The Jolly pendant hanging above is by Coco Flip. The slender windows are fixed with blinds to block out sun in the summer and can open to create a cross breeze.
