The sash-style windows are from Sierra Pacific, with a ‘Paramount’ sofa and ottoman by Blu Dot tucked underneath.

The custom natural oak vanity was fabricated by Greenpiece Furniture, with a quartz countertop in ‘Serena Gold’ by Vadara. The freestanding tub is by Kohler.

In the bathroom, Kevin specified large format porcelain floor tile with staggered 2x8 ceramic Clé Tile on the walls.

The same white oak flooring continues on this level, combined with built-in storage by Kevin, using Ikea cabinets with a custom natural oak countertop leading into the dressing room.

The second floor living room is currently used as a playroom for the couple's daughter, Poppy. The gallery wall has pieces that the couple have collected together, and the recycled tee shirt blanket on the back of the couch is fabricated by Project Repat.

The cabinets are IKEA frames with 'BASIS Natural Oak’ fronts by Reform.

The dropped ceiling is old-growth fir that was discovered under plaster during the demolition phase of the project, and was repurposed for interior finishes. The custom island prep table is by Vintage Mill Werks, with Hay stools.

The European white oak flooring is ‘Crystal Thunder’ by Riva Floors.

Kevin kept the Victorian details on the upper portion of the building, painted Benjamin Moore "Mayonnaise,

“I have family all over the United States, and my friends are scattered, so home means having a place where people can come together,” Adam says.

To add warmth and coziness to the bedroom, Rodriguez hung wood-look wallpaper from Belarte, then paired it with a bed from Soho Home, a floor lamp from Crate & Barrel, and vintage chairs.

The vintage barber station was initially a hard sell, but it fit Adam’s hallway perfectly.

“The bedroom is without a doubt my happy place,” Adam says.

“I travel a ton for work, and I make a point to pick something up in most of the countries and cities that I visit,” Adam says. “My style blends a sort of minimalism with my love for unique pieces.”

“Krysta and I are cut from the same cloth,” Adam says, “We never shy away from hard work.”

At 700 square feet, Adam’s midtown apartment includes a cozy living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and an outdoor terrace.

The false fireplace in Adam’s living room was constructed by carpenter Trevor Miles, then wrapped in travertine-style wallpaper from Belarte.
