Like many places in Mexico, you can’t drink the tap water at Terrestre. The villas come equipped with two glass pitchers of water. In the evening, staff come by with water jugs to refill the pitchers. The mini-bar is stocked with several bottles of water, snacks, and other drinks, but I appreciate the plastic-free, complementary solution.

Meals aren’t included in my stay and nearby dining options are limited without a car, however Terrestre’s on-site restaurant serves three meals per day.

The furniture inside the villas is custom-designed by Mexican architect Oscar Hagerman.
