The newly exposed wood ceiling was walnut blasted to clean it up. “We knew that we would be looking up at it, looking up at the skylights, and watching the rainfall in the winter,” says Anna. “So, it would be nice to have it be a really warm and rich color, and to have it feel clean and tidy after so many years of just being a serviceable ceiling.” In the living room, two Raleigh sofas from Design Within Reach face each other.
