During the renovation, they discovered a window on the north side of the kitchen and built some shelving in front of it to enjoy storage while still letting the light in.

The second floor has an open-plan living and dining area integrated with a single-row kitchen. To the right of the “parlor” is a new addition with rows of skylights.

The shower features Fireclay Tile in Blue Satin—a pop of pastel amidst the otherwise earthy palette.

Upstairs, a light blue sectional from Castlery adds extra seating for visiting friends and family.

The lofted bedroom is bookended by windows overlooking Ponderosa pines

In the kitchen, Carrara marble countertops are a luxe addition to the material palette.

The couple spent $30, 933 on windows and doors, including this sliding glass door outlined in wood.

The couple use their prefabricated structure as a fully indecent guest suite thanks to its private bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. It’s also a showroom of sorts for their new company Steel Hut, which sells plan sets for residential Quonset huts in partnership with Skylab Architecture.
