A brick fireplace feature creates a low window from the kitchen into the living room to keep a connection between the rooms without relying on a completely open floor plan. Energy-efficient MR16 halogen lights are recessed into the wood ceiling to further emphasize the clean lines throughout the interior spaces.

The tiles in the bathrooms are by Clé Tile and Zia Tile.

The clean cabinetry and moody tiling yield a relaxing upstairs master bath.

An existing bedroom was sacrificed to make room for a first-floor bathroom, which is fitted with a large skylight. The herringbone wall tiles are from Topps Tiles.

To create a stronger outdoor connection and sense of loftiness, Hoffman built a skylight over the bathroom. "I'd always wanted an outdoor shower," she says.

The high window brings in light and views of nature without sacrificing privacy.

The large master bathroom on the first floor of the main house features a freestanding tub with ocean and forest views.

Even the master bathroom boasts spectacular views to the south. Vertical-grain oak, with visible knots, is featured throughout the interior to establish a contemporary, rustic aesthetic in reference to the old farmhouses that inspired the home.

Inside Vora Santorini, you’ll find Zirini ceramics, Piet Boon fixtures, Gascoigne and Vasaltis marble, Ceppo di Grey stone, Trizzo and WM lighting, and Bang and Olufsen sound. "All of it is naturally embraced by the traditional, white interior walls and the black volcanic rocks of Santorini," says Bellonias.
