Dimensions X was founded in 2020 by entrepreneur Oscar Martin and architect Peter Stutchbury to answer one question: How can prefab housing be more site-responsive? Their answer is the modular cross-laminated timber OM-1, a roughly 600-square-foot cabin where everything from its dimensions to its envelope can be optimized and adjusted to better suit its environment, and its owner.

The Ecocapsule® is designed for anywhere. All you need to do is bring it to site, extend the wind turbine, and it does the rest. Built-in filtration system cleans water brought from a nearby source (like a lake or a stream) or harvested from rain by the unit itself.

The Midwest's first 3D-print house is in Detroit, designed by Develop Architecture and constructed by Citizen Robotics, both local companies. Its vernacular is of its neighborhood rather than its building method.

Although the units come with aluminum cladding by default, CABN offers to different materials at additional cost.
