Robinson on how he thinks the pandemic could affect office design: "Buildings have long timeframes. I am hopeful that a vaccine will make this a question that we will not need to address in earnest, but if we do, it is clear that flexibility will be paramount. I believe that the design of mechanical systems will be scrutinized and that popular energy-efficient VRV systems (that recirculate standing air with a separate dedicated outside air supply) will be a concern."

The French Norman–style home was built in 1927 and sits on over half an acre in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. The architects preserved much of its original detail in a 2018 remodel.
