Paul Landacre’s Elysian Heights cabin has been fully revamped with fresh timber inside and out.

The bathroom has its original terrazzo floors, punched up with yellow tile, decor and fixtures in Day-Glo orange, and a custom steel sink.

The new stainless-steel kitchen is fitted with cabinetry and appliances and includes a floating island with a burner and drawers to conceal pots and pans. It’s set on wheels so Martin and Andrew can rotate it to free up floor space as needed while entertaining.

The houseboat is designed to offer two separate flats, each with open living areas and a deck.

In the new house, the wall separating the kitchen and dining/living room has been knocked down to create a larger, more roomy and brighter. As for the door and window, they have not moved from their original positions.
