Peter Zumthor’s holiday home for Living Architecture sits at the edge of Devon, England, a small village surrounded by Monterey pines and open fields, where cattle occasionally wander by. Although the exterior is somewhat stark, there is a surprising sense of warmth and even coziness inside, amid the bare concrete walls and stone floors.
