Bunk Room

Josh and Natalie Pritchard’s residence in the woods of New Gloucester, Maine, consists of two parallel gable structures connected by a breezeway. The taller building is the home, and the shorter is a two-car garage with an in-law apartment. The Pritchard children call the wetlands behind the house “fairy land.”

Bayne chose the "Little Diamond

The Risoms used the semi-custom Space Theory for their kitchen design, and Tom and carpenter Chris Mascola installed the pre-assembled pieces in place. Space Theory was founded in 2019 by kitchen design company Henrybuilt.

The daybed is upholstered in performance fabric from Romo.

The master bedroom's enlarged dormer window looks directly out onto the backyard and its mature trees, creating what the clients think of as a peaceful treehouse-like ambiance.

The door to the left was added in the remodel, to increase air flow and facilitate better circulation for groups. The threshold is painted green, in a nod to an image seen in the Barbican Residents: Inside the Iconic Brutalist Estate. The wall oven are by Bosch.
