Master bedroom

Large windows draw daylight into the sleeping quarters, while providing beautiful views to the gardens.

The bed also overlooks the new exterior courtyard via floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors measuring 4.8 meters wide (or almost 16 feet).

The wood paneling in the master bedroom is original as is the tongue and groove ceiling. The master is the only room in the house without a connection to the outdoors.

Herringbone-patterned oak floors continue into the two bedrooms.

In the master suite, large glass windows convey the view. The dresser is vintage.

Powder room

A massive pine beam defines the master bathroom.

The curving concrete tub has the same color as the floor, to appear as through it's rising out of it.

Each bedroom comes with a private bathroom.

In the kitchen, a pair of Swell LED pendants by Pablo Pardo from Design Within Reach hang above an island lined with Industry West stools. The appliances are from KitchenAid.

“We learned that in a home this size, every design decision needs to contribute both functionally and aesthetically to the space,” Robinson says. “The details matter even more when every inch is significant, so we got creative with how to make the most out of everything.” Polished quartzite countertops, Leicht cabinetry, and a backsplash of back-painted glass make the kitchen feel luxurious.

The kitchen, located on the other side of the living area, is equipped with all new appliances, as well as a stainless-steel countertop and backsplash.
