From the Agent: “This was the custom family home built for Robert and Helene Alexander of the famed Alexander construction company. Look magazine visited in 1962 for a peek into the futuristic design, declaring it the ‘House Of Tomorrow.’ The spaceship-like dynamic winged roofline shelters four circular pods, with the center of the house fanning out from the dramatic stepped waterfall. The entry path through carved wood, double-height entry doors ushers you to a sunken party pad of angular stacked stoned walls, glass, and a low-slung curved upholstered banquet embracing a futuristic steel beaker-shaped fireplace hood and floating hearth. Elvis Presley celebrated his honeymoon here in 1967, giving the home one of its names, the ‘Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway.’”
