New custom walnut cabinetry syncs with the rest of the built-ins throughout the home, to create a pleasing rhythm in the open plan. The backsplash is Heath Ceramics tile, and the counter is Pental Quartz. Open shelves at the rear overlook a cozy den, and allow sightlines out the new windows at the front of the home.
Designed by David Cressey for Architectural Pottery, the Pineapple Planter adds a touch of the tropics to a household plant, even in the least tropical climates. With an intricate textured honeycomb exterior, the planter gives a nod to a pineapple’s exterior, while still maintaining an artful, modern look. The AP-100 Pineapple Planter is perfect for housing a large fern or leafy plant.
A sculptural bench from the Future Perfect and a circa-1950s vintage blown-glass, brass, and enameled metal Kalmar Tulipan chandelier invite guests through the entry. The space flows into the kitchen, where meals unfold on a built-in banquette upholstered in SH Frank leather by Geremia Design, or CH33T chairs underneath an Atelier Rich Tegelaar Open Meshmatics pendant.
