The master bedroom was painted a soothing shade of pale gray with white ceilings and doors. Peach, fuchsia, and purple tones create a dynamic contrast in the form of a vintage, overdyed rug from Rug Knots and a painting by Amelia Midori Miller. The Urbino bed in copper is from Property Pendant, and the Line Pendant 06 light is from Douglas and Bec.

Allied Maker Court Sconces pick up brassy tones from the lighting and highlight a peach-toned, abstract painting from Jen Winks Hays. A pair of vintage Milo Baughman barrel chairs further brighten the space with their sunny shade of yellow.

While most of her home renovation focused on the den, Keri had floating shelves built in the primary bedroom for streamlined storage. During the pandemic, she's been extra diligent about sticking to a nighttime routine that includes a chance to wind down. "It can be a tough habit to break, but keep electronics out of your bed," she advises. A West Elm bed is accessorized with pillows and a throw from The Citizenry.

In the main bedroom, Devlin painted the ceiling black for a bit more “moody” treatment.

In the couple’s bedroom, mirrored cabinets bounce light back toward an office nook. The rug is from Armadillo & Co., and the throw blanket is from Città Design.

A locally made plywood bed frame with built-in drawers rests under Sheet Society linens and a Città throw.

Flansburgh's office and study still contain his original built-in desks and shelving.

The dining area showcases the beams and glass that drew the owners to this home.

The new house numbers are the Aurele 6" Matte Black House Numbers from CB2, while the streamlined mailbox is a Wayfair find.

Matching the nightstands is an EQ3 Marcel Dresser with a Chaz Bear painting overhead. Foscarini Binic Lamps offer a cheerful interjection of color. A rug from Revival Rugs adds texture, warmth, and pattern.

The kitchen is steps from the garden, which grows as an ever-changing backdrop on the far end of the room.

Joshua rigged a hanging closet for $45, using a kayak holder and PVC pipe. The system went through a couple of iterations, and there is a "hole graveyard" on the ceiling, he says, along with a stray pulley left over from an earlier version. "I like seeing the progress," says Joshua, who streamlined his wardrobe so it would fit in his new closet.

The eco-friendly escape is powered by solar panels and a wind turbine—and it even includes a full bath.
