Set at the edge of Stoney Lake in Ontario, Canada, is a photographer's home, studio, and boat house designed by Toronto-based studio GH3. The glass box unites landscape and architecture while providing ideal spaces for photography, programmatic functions for living, and boat storage.

All of the rooms have been meticulously designed with contemporary furnishings, thoughtful amenities, original local art, and an inviting, open feel.

This RIBA award-winning house by Platform 5 Architects has three shingle-clad pitch roof bays that are influenced by Scandinavian lake houses and echoes the form of the local boat sheds.

Voted for the 2012 RIBA National Award, The Find, which sits in a peaceful within a serene sixteen-acre wooded valley near Cheltenham, is a minimalist stone house with a new elongated extension that has light concrete interiors and wall-to-ceiling glass windows.
