Design Loves Detail's Remodeled Bath
When Mollie Openshaw of Design Loves Detail decided to remodel the bathroom in her Utah home, she sought to merge European elements with a neutral palette. Through contrasting a warm wood vanity with bold, cool countertops and matte black accents, Mollie achieved a clean aesthetic complemented by a woven vanity stool and lush greenery. The result: a modern, Mediterranean style that complements the rest of her home. A key design element in the space is Native Trails’ Trough 4819 NativeStone Sink (nativetrailshome.com). Crafted of a masterful blend of sustainable jute fiber and cement, the eco-friendly sink is exceptional in its lighter weight, one-of-a-kind coloration, and extraordinary stain, scratch, and crack resistance. Mollie opted for a Slate finish to coordinate with the stone countertops and flooring. Another notable feature in the vanity area is the oversized mirror, which draws the eye up and capitalizes on the room’s tall ceilings.
